Description
We are looking for a new forestry machine operator to join our professional, friendly team.

This role is vital for our daily operations by providing essential support to our harvesting team. You will be working on various projects on large private Cotswold estates.


Your responsibilities will include operating a Purpose built forwarder (Komatsu Forwarder 840TX) and the use of tractor-based forestry machinery i.e Mulcher, Winch & Crane Trailer.


It is vital that you are professional, have excellent time keeping, exceptional communication and can work collaboratively as part of a team but also be self motivated to be productive when working alone.

A tidy appearance is also essential.


Applicants must be willing to work in all weather conditions, be physically fit, friendly, flexible, have a strong work ethic and take pride in your work.

All uniform and required PPE will be provided, and 28 days paid holiday (including Bank Holidays). Working hours are 06:30 to 15:30 Monday - Friday. Overtime and weekend work available.


All applicants must hold a full UK driving license and have your own transport as Dowdeswell is not served by any public transport.

Competitive pay dependant on experience. £25,000 - £32,000 per year Interested?
