We currently have a vacancy for a Skilled or Semi-Skilled Site Operative in our Hampshire (Stockbridge) office.


As a Site Operative you will be expected to support project managers and engineers in the provision of spill response, site investigation and remediation services on behalf of clients.

Your main role will include working on projects involving ex-situ ground remediation using either mechanical or manual excavation processes with the ability to re-instate grounds to the highest standard and provide site supervision when required.


You will be based in the Remediation & Spill Response Team but you will be expected to work in all areas of the business, assisting with internal research and development projects and delivering emergency mitigation measures across our sites throughout the UK.

You will be given support with your personal career development.

We are looking for someone who is practical and used to working outdoors.

Knowledge and experience of spill response and remediation techniques would be an advantage but construction or labouring experience would also be beneficial.

Qualifications are less important than practical experience and a willingness to follow instructions and learn new skills.

Good Health and Safety knowledge and qualifications would be advantageous, as would trailer towing experience. We would expect a skilled operative to have plant certificates and a CSCS card.

Salary is dependant on previous experience.

Salary:

Up to £25,000 for a semi-skilled operative and up to £31,500 for a skilled operative, depending on experience and qualifications


Working Hours:

37.5 hours a week Monday to Friday
