We need a positive and skilled Senior Estates Officer to join our invaluable estates team, supporting the NHS in our communities.

We are looking for someone to take on this leadership role who can provide highly technical and specialist experience that will keep us compliant and efficient as a service.

You will need to be able to undertake and manage both major and minor works, including capital projects, whilst also having the ability to manage highly technical and complex engineering environments for the hospital estate.

Your contribution will be integral to the provision and management of our buildings as well as the provision and management of our personnel.

You will be our formally appointed Authorised Person and Designated Responsible Officer so we will need your advice and expertise when it comes to statutory standards and legislature.

Your strategic expertise will help us create a safe and efficient estate for NHS services to operate effectively.

To provide technical and specialist advice on the building services environment, engineering infrastructure and buildings.

To provide an effective maintenance service, minor and capital works service and guidance in respect of planning and development of the Trust.


To manage multi-disciplinary teams comprising:

  • Estates Officers (Building/Engineering)
  • Supervisors
  • Mechanical and Electrical craftspersons
  • Building craftspersons
  • Contractors
