As Heartbeat's finance assistant you'll work closely and provide support to the finance manager. You will be responsible for providing timely and accurate information and be able to work independently.

We are looking for an experienced finance assistant who is friendly, proactive and who can manage changing priorities and demands.

Knowledge of Sage Line 50 accounts and a general understanding of payroll is desirable.

The role will cover Heartbeat's Enhanced Access contract, Primary Care Network support and our medical practice.


Overview

Heartbeat is the GP Federation for Hambleton, Richmondshire and Whitby and is a Community Interest Company owned by the GP practices in the three localities.

As well as providing support and opportunities for at scale working to its member practices and primary care networks, it is also a healthcare provider, delivering evening and weekend access general practice services from multiple locations.

Key responsibilities

• Producing monthly sales invoices
• Reconciling and paying invoices
• Monitoring the finance inbox
• Dealing with accounts queries
• Bank reconciliations
• Input of data to Sage
• Collate monthly information for payroll provider
• Other ad hoc duties

• Previous finance experience
• Sage Line 50 experience (desirable)

Job Types:

£24,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
