Description
The role of the Warehouse Assistant is to ensure the smooth running of all stores maintained by Morepour Ltd.

To work with the Warehouse Manager to ensure effective organisation as well as supporting the business on a day-to-day basis.

*Due to the location of the stores a driving license is needed*Responsibilities will be as below:
  • Warehouse
  • 1. Oversee all stores locations operated by Morepour, ensuring all stores are kept fully stocked and returns are up to date.
  • Communicate any stock shortages with Warehouse Manager for re-ordering.
  • Strategically manage the warehouse in compliance with company's policies and vision.
  • Ensure efficient space utilization and layout. Ensure stores is organised to increase productivity and reduce cross brewer equipment issues.
  • Manage stock control by completing regular stock takes on all brewers and company owned equipment.
  • Ensure Kanban equipment is locked away and all items removed from stock are logged with Warehouse Manager.
  • Refurbish equipment from returns to be used for events or sale, to be implemented during quieter periods of the year.
  • To work with Warehouse Manager to organise all suppliers stock takes.
  • Working alongside the Warehouse Manager to liaise with suppliers and transport companies to ensure all inbound and outbound deliveries are completed as required.
  • Ensure deliveries are checked prior to signing off where possible.
  • Ensure the Warehouse area and Operations office is clean and tidy.
  • Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements.
  • Technicians
  • 1. *Ensure all equipment is picked and ready for collection to reduce technician time at stores. Stores visits to be arranged between warehouse department and planning department.
2. *Manage usage of pick sheets for all jobs, including technician sign off, to ensure correct equipment is picked.


  • Implement returns process and ensure all technicians follow process, reporting any issues to Warehouse Manager.
  • Maintain regular contact with engineers with specific satellite stores to maintain stock levels.
  • To assist Health & Safety representative in furthering our policies surrounding safe working practises and decreasing our carbon footprint.
  • Technician Vehicles
  • 1. Complete regular van inspections for each company vehicle to check functionality and cleanliness. Reports to be passed to Office Manager to record and for action to be taken.
  • Events
  • 1. Work alongside Warehouse Manager to ensure all Lindr units are cleaned upon return prior to being booked back into stores. Check units are working and clean before being sent out on next job.
  • Work alongside Warehouse Manager to refurbish equipment that can be moved into event stock.
  • Minimise the usage of new Kanban equipment for events. Always look to use refurbished equipment.
  • Work alongside Office Manager and Directors to ensure all event jobs are reviewed in good time to ensure equipment is available.
  • Have required equipment made available at Head Office for technicians to collect at their pre-planned stores visit.
  • Arrange returns for surplus equipment when demand decreases to utilise space in stores.
  • Inform Warehouse Manager of additional event equipment from breweries where applicable.
  • Online sales
  • 1. Work alongside the Warehouse Manager to ensure all online/shop sales are processed and recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Track equipment taken from Kanban used for shop sales where applicable.
  • Liaise with Warehouse Manager to arrange deliveries and collections via courier service, as well as pallet companies when applicable.
Hours

  • Monday to Friday
This is to include 2 x 15 minute breaks and a 30 minute break


Salary:
£23,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
