Wood Process & Energy is recruiting for a Senior Planner to support a project with Centrica Storage Limited (CSL) based in Hull, UK.

In this role, you will collaborate with Centrica Storage Limited (CSL) to support their onshore and offshore gas storage operations, contributing your expertise to ensure a safe, efficient, and sustainable energy supply.

The Role

You will prepare, review and report accurate project schedules and plans in support of the robust control of projects throughout their lifecycle.

Preparing and submitting project schedules and plans, ensuring schedules and plans are prepared to the required level of detail and accuracy in accordance with contractual requirements and Wood policies, procedures, and standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Project schedules are maintained in accordance with approved contract and project Work Breakdown Structure

Project plans and schedules are issued in accordance with contract reporting calendar and on an as required basis

All project schedules are fully logic linked and show the critical path and total float for all activities

The project schedule is baselined at the time of approval by the client of funding for the project

All project schedules contain resources in accordance with the corporate standards

Work packs delivery milestones are clearly identified within the project schedules

A standard set of agree - Provide excellent customer service and ensure client expectations are met or exceeded

QUALIFICATIONS
Advanced understanding of WBS & CBS structures and project reporting capabilities

Advanced ability to develop project schedules and plans

Advanced ability to prepare resource loading, progress and staffing plans

Advanced understanding of project management principles and techniques

Strong understanding of Cost Management, Change Control, Planning & Risk Analysis & Management

Prior experience in a senior planning role

Experience being based in a client office.

Advanced knowledge of Primavera and other scheduling software and related tools and techniques including Logic and CPM analysis, resource loading and levelling Role

Demonstrate and adhere to industry best practices for planning

Have a high level understanding of planning practices other than software
