APT care are looking for new carers to join the LUTON care team

As a domiciliary care provider, we support elderly people within their own homes in the postcode areas listed above we are looking for 1-2 people to support providing Personal Assistance

We are looking for carers that are reliable and able to commit to their weekly rota, or which includes a first shift that may vary between 9am - 10am start and finishing around 1pm - 2pm, the second shift that starts between 5pm -6pm and finishing around 7pm-8pm.

This includes a fixed day off each week. All staff are required to commit to every other weekend or one day every weekend.


Due to the nature of the job being based in the community, with house-to-house visits following a rota doing so, the applicant must be a driver with use of their own vehicle.


Applicants that do not drive, WILL NOT be considered for this location and care position.
This is customer care focused role that delivers personal care and other tasks to individuals within the comfort of their own home, such as below:

Arranging and providing transport to health and wellbeing appointments


We are looking for experienced and passionate carers that will join our team and help support our clients in a caring and professional manner.

With a caring personality, strong reliability of your rota and a passion to work in care


All our staff receives full induction training, care certificate induction, and ongoing refreshers, and are expected to do their NVQ/QCF level 2 & 3 post probation.


This role will include supporting people with Learning disabilities and Mental Health, this job can be very rewarding and an opportunity to make a genuine positive difference; promoting individuals to live independently and helping them live the best life possible.

We are looking for someone who is patient and is able to communicate effectively to ascertain the individual's wishes and preferences and ensure these are wise decisions.

A few characteristics that you will need to be successful in this role:

Can do Attitude - we support some of the adults that have varying different challenges such as emotional behavioral difficulties, Mental Health and at times you will need to show a positive attitude in order to support the person in the best way.


Communication - We support individuals that may have difficulty communicating their needs and wishes, we would like someone that finds innovative ways to communicate and display patience and an understanding of how Important good communication.


Organization - You'll need to be confident and organized in updating the individual's personal diary for GP appointments, Health and wellbeing appointments, and personal plans such as meals with friends and family.


Caring - The individuals we support require the best care possible, if you're a naturally caring and compassionate person, this role would be perfect for you.


Understanding/Attentive - when we support people we need to identify the type of person they are and what is the best way to support them in the way that suits them.

Above all, you will be working in an environment where you can grow and flourish in your career. Learning new skills and constantly looking at your personal development.
