Description

Asprey Medical Services is recruiting for a Band 7 Care Co-ordination Pharmacist on behalf of our NHS client in Essex.

The position is offered on a full-time permanent basis, covering 37.5 hours per week. However, part-time hours will also be considered.
Up to £45,839 per annum.

Knowledge / Skills / Qualifications

Essential

Broad technical, clinical, and pharmaceutical knowledge relating to the promotion of high quality, effective and cost efficient use of medicines
Evidence of producing reports, writing procedures, guidelines, and protocols
Qualification as an Independent Non-Medical Prescriber or willingness to work towards
Relevant postregistration clinical experience in community or hospital pharmacy
Full UK Driving Licence
Ability to travel across sites and across Trust boundaries to attend meetings
Registered member of the General Pharmaceutical Council
UK accredited MPharm degree, EEA degree or OSPAP qualification

Desirable

Certificate in Management studies or equivalent experience
Experience of development of Patient Group Directions
Experience of working as a member of a multidisciplinary team
Experience of clinical audit
Experience of managing staff
Member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society and working towards or wiling to work towards Faculty Membership
