We're looking for a
Ganger to join our Utilities (Water & Energy), National Grid Electricity Distribution (NGED) team where no two days are the same.

Within this role, you will be responsible for co-ordinating and ensuring that all work is carried out safely and to programme which will contribute to NGED's aim to provide power to the local community.

Based from our Bristol depot


Contract:
Permanent - Full time


Salary:
Weekly paid, hourly rate
£10ph to £16ph, dependant on experience


Responsibilities


As a Ganger for the National Grid Electricity Distribution (NGED) team playing a vital role in managing the team responsible for all stages of excavation works on site and aspects of digging & lay on the electricity networks.


Your day-to-day will include:

  • Taking personal responsibility for Health & Safety performance, overall quality of work and meeting productivity targets.
  • Communicating with the ganger and other colleagues as required updating them on progress
  • Coordinating all site activities

This role of Ganger is great for you if:

  • Hold a Full UK Driving Licence
  • Have a CSCS Card and EUSR Water Hygiene Trained (can obtained in the role)
