Support Officer | Immediate start available | Birmingham | Full Time | Monday to Friday - 9.30am to 5.30pm | Up to £20,020 a year

Are you the right person for the job?

  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel) and other commonly used office packages
  • Full UK driver's licence and use of a car
  • Friendly, helpful, and passionate about supporting people
  • Demonstrates trust, openness, and respect in dealings with people
  • A positive individual with a 'can do' attitude
  • Good time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Support experience with either vulnerable adults or domiciliary care is required
  • Good, clear legible handwriting is essential

What will your role as a Support Officer look like?

  • You will provide support to people with a variety of needs, including offending behaviour, mental health issues, substance misuse, issues around family breakdown, neighbourhood disputes, behavioural problems, and antisocial behaviour
  • You will be responsible for a portfolio of properties which will involve both support duties, alongside housing management
  • You will be part of a successful team of other Housing Officers and Managers, whom you will work alongside
  • This is a varied and rewarding role to be involved in
