Support Officer | Immediate start available | Birmingham | Full Time | Monday to Friday - 9.30am to 5.30pm | Up to £20,020 a year

Are you the right person for the job?

Knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel) and other commonly used office packages
Full UK driver's licence and use of a car
Friendly, helpful, and passionate about supporting people
Demonstrates trust, openness, and respect in dealings with people
A positive individual with a 'can do' attitude
Good time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Support experience with either vulnerable adults or domiciliary care is required
Good, clear legible handwriting is essential

What will your role as a Support Officer look like?

You will provide support to people with a variety of needs, including offending behaviour, mental health issues, substance misuse, issues around family breakdown, neighbourhood disputes, behavioural problems, and antisocial behaviour
You will be responsible for a portfolio of properties which will involve both support duties, alongside housing management
You will be part of a successful team of other Housing Officers and Managers, whom you will work alongside
