Stock Administrator
SUMMIT1977 Limited is based in Trowbridge, Wiltshire, designing and create high quality, beautiful furniture.

We are recruiting for a Stock Administrator to support the Operations Manager. Tasks include daily stock ordering, managing suppliers, raising purchase orders, following up deliveries and maintaining stock levels.


Key Duties & Tasks:

  • Place daily orders within the MRP ordering system for a number of products/suppliers and manage confirmations.
  • Ensure all supplier quality certification is up to date and valid.
  • Identifying new and alternative sources of supply for products and making recommendations.
  • Expedite deliveries as required. Arrange 3rd party contractors.
  • Send priority lists to suppliers.
  • Checking daily input report and notifying relevant departments of lead times.
  • Follow up delivery dates and any delays with suppliers, communicate to relevant departments.
  • Tender suppliers for large orders
  • Assist with Stock Takes
  • Download monthly reports and create KPI's
  • Attend daily supplier/production meetings.
  • Liaise with relevant departments as and when required to ensure tasks and objectives are met in a timely manner.
Skills, Knowledge & Experience

  • Numerate
  • Able to communicate clearly, work as part of a team
  • Attention to detail. Accuracy
  • Strong planning and organisational skills
  • Use of ERP/MRP systems
