Description

Undertaking drilling geo-environmental boreholes, open holing, rotary coring, water boreholes and the installation and Geothermal Loops.

Ability to plan and manage own work, and problem solve during the drilling process to maintain constant borehole progression, to produce high meterage levels on a consistent basis and reducing down time
Report to the lead driller
Understand specific testing instructions, completing and reporting work to the office.
Undertake hand excavated inspection pits, general labouring duties, general reinstatement
Carry out routine maintenance on plant and equipment and report all defects
Provide effective input to projects consistent with your skills and experience
Accept training with a view to promotion to Lead Driller
Work is usually away from home and £25 a night away money is paid.
Would also suit agriculture/farm worker

Skills, Competencies and Experience:
Relevant experience in a similar role in the industry is not essential

Full Clean UK Diving Licence essential (ability/licence to tow would be preferable)
NVQ Land Drilling Level 2 (Can be earned on the job)

CSCS card is required
Experience of working in safety related environment

Ability to accept instructions and work to specified procedures

Proactive mind-set to pre-empt problems and constructively tackle obstacles
Maintain accurate and legible records
Organised and motivated
Flexible both in terms of time (short notice UK travel) and attitude

First Aid Training and awareness of Health & SafetyForklift experience and licence an advantage but not essential.
Good timekeeping and punctuality

Work remotely

Salary:
£27,500.00-£30,000.00 per year
