English Teacher
Opus Education are currently seeking a Qualified English Teacher to teach KS3 and KS4. You will be responsible for delivering and planning lessons to GCSE standard. This role is to start after February Half Term and run till the end of the academic year. Theposition is for 5 days a week (Monday - Fri). You will need to hold QTS and have experience teaching English to KS3 and KS4. The school is looking for a confident teacher with good communication and behaviour management.


Experience, Training and Qualifications:


  • It is essential that you have QTS and experience teaching English in a school setting in either a permanent or supply cover role. Uptodate Safeguarding training is imperative; you can undertake a free course with Opus Educartion if you have not completeda Safeguarding course in the last 12 months.

Responsibilities:

_Educate_ individuals and groups in whole class lessons, small groups and practical sessions

_Develop_ individuals by providing feedback to individuals on their achievements, progress, and any problems that arise

_Enhance_ each lesson in advance by preparing classrooms, lesson materials and equipment

_Encourage_ individuals and groups to interact and engage both within the class and during activities
-
_Create _trusting relationships and be adaptable around individual needs and working styles to promote good conduct and behaviours

_Provide _a safe and healthy environment and follow safeguarding procedures
-
_Review _individuals work, write reports and ensure all records are up to date
