- Processing payroll in a timely and accurate manner
- Creating and maintaining employee's payroll records
- Calculating wages and deductions
- Preparing payroll reports for management
- Ensuring compliance with payroll laws and regulations
- Maintaining confidentiality of payroll information
- Responding to payrollrelated inquiries and resolving concerns
- Performing account balance and payroll reconciliations
The Successful Applicant:
A successful Payroll Officer should have:
- A solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices
- An ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records
- Proficiency in MS Office and good knowledge of relevant software (e.g. Kronos, Payforce)
- High degree of professionalism
- Outstanding communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills
