  • Processing payroll in a timely and accurate manner
  • Creating and maintaining employee's payroll records
  • Calculating wages and deductions
  • Preparing payroll reports for management
  • Ensuring compliance with payroll laws and regulations
  • Maintaining confidentiality of payroll information
  • Responding to payrollrelated inquiries and resolving concerns
  • Performing account balance and payroll reconciliations

The Successful Applicant:


A successful Payroll Officer should have:

  • A solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and payroll best practices
  • An ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records
  • Proficiency in MS Office and good knowledge of relevant software (e.g. Kronos, Payforce)
  • High degree of professionalism
  • Outstanding communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Aptitude for numbers and quantitative skills
