SENIOR MARKETING ANALYST (6 MONTH FTC)

UP TO £55,000 PRO-RATA

LONDON (HYBRID)

Overview
Harnham is working exclusively with a well-known British retailer on a 6-month Fixed Term Contract position.


You will be responsible for ensuring all customer, marketing and wider business analytics is reported accurately and in a timely manner.

You will provide strategic support and actionable insight to all areas of the business. This is a mix of hands-on, executinganalysis and communicating with the wider business findings and recommendations.


The role

You will be responsible for:

  • Constructing and executing customer data analytics to make recommendations towards business change across customer behaviour and customer experience
  • Managing & evolving current marketing and customer reporting to ensure it drives strategic decisions across stakeholders
  • Analyse complex customer behaviour trends using modelling tools; input to customer experience and research projects and deliver customer behaviour data driven insights.
  • Design, implement and interpret tests (using statistical techniques) based on a wide array hypothesis around customer behaviour, then provide opportunities for further analysis
  • Provide input to customer segmentation and ongoing mapping to the customer database.
  • Advise and mentor other analysts in the team on analytical best practice and effective dissemination of results to support change most effectively
  • Manage relationships with senior stakeholders across the business. Proactively defining and recommending new marketing & customer analytics to both improve performance & support project activities, ensuring the accuracy of data before circulation.

The experience
You don't have to tick all the boxes but if you have some of the following experience then we'd love to hear from you:

  • Excellent knowledge of Excel, data mining and data analytical tools
  • Highly numerate with strong analytical skills
  • Experience of using a tool or language to extract and analyse data (e.g. SQL, SPSS Modeler, SAS)
  • Direct marketing or customer analytics experience in the retail sector
  • Campaign planning and data selection execution experience
  • Digital/Product/Category Analytics; Online/Offline Attribution; Marketing Segmentation; Propensity Modelling.

The benefits
You will receive up to £55,000 per annum alongside other benefits.
