We have an opportunity for someone to step into this fixed term Service Lead role to support the development and improvement of our Contracts and Commissioning Team.


You will be an integral part of the leadership team, working collaboratively with colleagues across all departments and with partners leading the vision, transformation and strategic direction of the Council.


What we are looking for:
- effectively lead and develop Commissioning Strategies for the Services within the area of responsibility of the post including Contracting & Quality, Children & Young People and/ or Adult or Older Adult Social Care.
- work with the Contracts and Commissioning Team to ensure the provision of a comprehensive contracts and commissioning service in accordance with legislation and health and social care regulations.
- develop innovative partnerships with external bodies to maximise the use of the Council's resources and benefits to Social Care service users.
- be formally educated to degree level, or demonstrable equivalent level of experience working at a senior level.
- have extensive proven specialist knowledge of commissioning at scale services for people within community settings.
