Meditemp is delighted to announce that we are working with one of the leading public sector community services for children and young people's mental health services in the Southeast.

Our client is looking for someone experienced in Management of cases under CPA, administration of depot injections, monitoring compliance, monitoring and assessment of mental health problems.

The post holder will be a nurse with the appropriate professional or regulatory body (NMC).

They will have clinical experience working with children and young people with emotional wellbeing and mental difficulties, they will have significant experience of delivering clinically robust mental health assessments, care planning and risk and will also have substantial CAMHS/EWMHS clinical experience.


Community Psychiatric Nurse essential skills:


  • The ability to observe, assess and respond appropriately to patient needs
  • Implement evidencebased care plans and risk assessments
  • Ensure the correct administration and monitoring of medication
  • The ability to build and maintain professional and therapeutic relationships with patients and their families
  • Knowledge and experience of clinical and management supervision.
  • Good organisation and problemsolving skills
  • Manage and communicate sensitive information effectively
  • Effective team work skills

Meditemp requires you to have:


  • A minimum of 6 months recent experience as children and young person's psychiatric nurse
  • RIO Training
  • NMC registration
  • Eligibility to work within the UK
  • Physical Restraint training (GSA Approved)
