Waiter / Waitress

we are looking for event staff, needs to be fully flexible

Monday to Friday

Varied shifts

£10.58ph after 12 weeks £11.43ph

Benefits - accrue holiday pay

Waiter or Waitress will greet and escort customers to their tables

Waiter or waitress needs to Prepare tables by setting up linens, silverware and glasses

  • Setting up and clearing down for an event
  • Moving around campus
  • Serve canapes and drinks
  • Helping serve the guests during events
  • Cloakroom duties

Waiter or waitress will take accurate food and drinks orders

  • Serve food and drink orders
  • Arrange table settings and maintain a tidy dining area

Waiter or waitress is to carry the dirty plates, glasses and silverware to kitchen for cleaning

  • Follow all relevant health department regulations
  • Provide excellent customer service to guests

Requirements and skills

  • Proven work experience as a Waiter or Waitress
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Ability to perform well in a fastpaced environment
  • Active listening and effective communication skills
  • Team spirit
  • Flexibility to work in shifts

Salary:
£10.58-£11.43 per hour
