Vehicle Service Advisor needed in Hindhead, Surrey

Basic salary up to £30,000:

Monday to Friday 8:00am
6pm

Our client a Independent Automotive Specialist Garage in the Hindhead, Surrey area is currently looking to recruit an experienced Service Advisor with exceptional upselling and customer service skills.

Must Have:

Service Advisor experience within the Motor Trade.
A stable career history.
Organised and able to work in a busy environment.
Passionate and knowledgeable about the trade
Technical knowledge / mechanically minded

Duties:

Welcoming customers and booking customers vehicles into the workshop.
Explaining the services our client are able to offer their customers.
Listening to and documenting customers car problems and passing the information to the technicians to plan the correct course of action.
Be able to discuss additional work required and gain authorisation to complete it.
Delivering the outcomes of servicing and diagnostic reports to customers and quoting for repairs.
Liaising with customers and technicians to schedule car checkups and service appointments.
Keep the customers informed and updated about the progress of their repairs.
Preparing invoices and taking payments.
Willing to learn about performance tuning and car parts.
Over the counter sales of performance car parts.
Marketing and social media strategy's to increase business throughput
