This company based in Rochester in a leading producer within the food industry. Due to company expansion, they are now seeking Milling Operator (nights) for the nights team.


As a Milling Operator (nights) you will be part of the night shift team who will set up and run the mills.

Duties as Milling Operator (nights) includes but not limited to:

  • Ensure the produce is manufactured to plan and to the correct specification and quality
  • Run the mill at the required speed setting.
  • Assist with the repairs & machine cleaning (internal & external)
  • Ensure all the paperwork is completed properly, accurately and in a timely manner including assisting the Miller with completion of QC checks
  • Help Miller to do rice analysis and ensure its all with in specification.
  • Assist Miller in daily mill routine and deep cleaning of equipment on the line including elevators.
  • Rip and Tip (25kg bags whilst standing on a platform) in Mill 3 as required or short of staff

Essentials:

  • Experience of plant or machine operations
  • Safe manual handling practices
