Driver/Warehouse Assistant - Kendal Branch
Express Plumbing Supplies is a rapidly growing Independent Plumbers Merchant with retail showrooms. We have 5 branches all based in Cumbria.

We are seeking to recruit a full time Driver/Warehouse Assistant for our Kendal branch.


Your duties will include:

  • Delivering of customer orders around the Kendal area.
  • Collections, Inter Branch deliveries, and any other necessary driving duties as requested by the branch manager
  • Representing the company professionally and in a friendly and helpful manner
  • Responsible for the safe loading, unloading and general upkeep of the company vehicle in accordance with our Health and Safety standards
  • To pick customer orders for delivery
  • To assist in all aspects of the general running of the warehouse as requested
  • To serve customers on the trade counter when required
  • To use the company computer systems as required to undertake duties

The following criteria are essential for the vacancy:

  • A full clean driving license
  • Basic computer literacy
The following criteria are not essential but preference will be given to persons with the following:

  • Experience in the Plumbing and Heating merchant industry
  • GCSE English and Maths A-C
Hours
  • Monday to Friday
7.30 am until 5.00 pm with a 1 hour unpaid lunch break equating to 42.5 hours per week.


Salary:
£25,282.40 per year

Experience:


  • Warehouse experience: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
