We are looking for
Exam Invigilators to support with morning exams in
Islington. We are seeking reliable and dedicated individuals to join us as soon as possible.

This is a temporary role with an
immediate start, providing an excellent opportunity to contribute to the education and success of students in our community while working half days in the mornings.


Role Overview:


As an Exam Invigilator, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and security of exams during the morning session.

Your duties will include setting up exam rooms, distributing exam papers, monitoring students during exams, and collecting completed papers. This role requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to upholding exam regulations and procedures.


Responsibilities of an Exam Invigilator:


  • Set up exam rooms in accordance with exam board regulations.
  • Distribute exam papers and materials to students.
  • Monitor students during exams to ensure compliance with exam regulations.
  • Provide assistance and support to students as needed.
  • Collect completed exam papers and ensure they are securely stored.
  • Report any irregularities or issues during exams to the exam coordinator.
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity throughout the exam process.

Role Requirements:


  • Available to work half days in the mornings.
  • Reliable and punctual with a professional demeanor.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
  • Previous experience as an exam invigilator is desirable but not essential.

You will be expected to hold or be willing to obtain Enhanced DBS check or Enhanced check for Regulated Activity with the Disclosure & Barring Services (previously the Criminal Records Bureau) and undergo due diligence checks on social media use.

All school-based staff have the responsibility for promoting the safeguarding and welfare of children.

All school staff should be aware of the school's Child Protection and Safeguarding Policy and work in accordance with this document at all times.

Pay:
£50.00-£60.00 per day

Expected hours: - 6 per week

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Islington: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Enhanced DBS (preferred)
