CK Group are recruiting for a Field Service Engineer for a well-established medical diagnostic company with an international reputation comprising two flagship business divisions that specialise in the design, manufacture and support of Clinical Electrophoresisand Haemostasis systems.

The Service department's primary function is to ensure all instrumentation is installed, maintained, and repaired to the highest standards, both directly by internal staff and indirectly by our international distributors.

The primary role of this position is to support UK customers directly, with extensive travel required throughout the UK to support a range of Electrophoresis and Haemostasis analysers.

Working closely with Technical support to ensure all customer complaints are addressed appropriately, within established KPI's, to ensure a positive outcome for the customer.

Essential skills:

Relevant qualification in electrical engineering
Team oriented mindset
Flexible attitude
Available for extensive travel within the UK, including overnight stays
Full UK driving license

Desirable Skills:

Previous experience with medical or IVD devices
Previous experience working with the NHS
Previous experience supporting distribution partners
Previous experience training others in a formal capacity
Working knowledge of IT networking and database

This vacancy is permanent, full time Monday to Friday (daytime hours) and based at the client's Gateshead site.
