Tradebe are looking for a Senior Credit Controller for our Warrington office.

The main purpose of this role is driving best practice within the department, looking to make improvements to processes where possible.

To be a point of escalation for complex queries/problems for customers across the team. To help find long-term solutions to problem accounts.

Demonstrated ability to partner with counterparts in other key functional disciplines.
Proven relationship development skills
Previous experience in a credit control role.
Previous experience with SAP.
Proactive manner and problemsolving skills.
Intermediate MS Excel skills.
Good attention to detail and organisational abilities.
Strong communication skills.

The Role:

Responsible for running departmental reports (aged debt, accounts on stop, customer performance).
Overseeing the new account creation process.
To ensure departmental tasks are carried out on time, arranging cover where necessary.
Liaise with account managers from around the company to tackle problem accounts and ensure queries are followed up where necessary.
Maintenance of the customer master database, ensuring all relevant customer information is kept up to date.
Analysis of customer credit performance, utilising data from associated credit reference agencies, and escalating potential risks where necessary.
