About the role
The In-House Trainer will be responsible for delivering training in both a classroom and on-site environment.

The Trainer will work as part of the Workforce Team and will strive to ensure that our training remains market-leading and compliant with all regulatory updates.

Working with the wider Workforce Team the Trainer will support with training administration and our e-learning portfolio.

Experience

  • Proven experience within the care sector
  • Confident public speaker and training facilitator
  • Awareness of different learning styles
  • Proficient in office management software, including Microsoft Office
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong presentation skills
  • Proven ability to multitask and prioritise workload to demanding deadlines
  • Ability to seek and share knowledge
  • Ability to be resilient and adaptive to new situations

Responsibilities

  • To deliver induction and refresher training in a classroom setting as well as onsite where required for First Aid, Medication, Team Teach, Positive Behaviour Support, Epilepsy and Health and Safety.
  • To design and update training materials.
  • To deliver adhoc training sessions based on business needs.
  • To evaluate the success of training and use data to suggest improvements.
  • To update and create elearning content.
  • To support the wider Workforce Team with adminstrative support.

Additional requirements

  • Car driver with access to own vehicle
  • Required to travel between sites and training locations
  • Willingness to work flexibly depending on the needs of the organisation

Safeguarding Requirements

  • Bright Futures commit to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and our requirement for the successful applicant would be to undertake enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check where appropriate. Satisfactory references are also required.
