An extremely rare and exciting opportunity has arisen at St Wilfrid's to join our team as the Head of Technology.

This is a permanent full-time Middle Leadership post, commencing in September 2024.

The Technology Team consists of 4 dedicated colleagues, with a range of experience, alongside a Technician. The department offers AQA Design & Technology GCSE and AQA Food Preparation & Nutrition GCSE. The Department has offered AQA Engineering GCSE recently too. The Department is housed in their own suite of classrooms, fully resourced with technical and specialist equipment.

St Wilfrid's Catholic High School & Sixth-Form College is a mixed voluntary Academy for 11-18 year olds, based in North Featherstone in West Yorkshire.

There are currently 1,538 students in attendance. The school opened in 1963 and has a proud history.

We were judged as Good by Ofsted in November 2021; we were also judged as Good by the Diocesan Section 48 Inspection in April 2017.

We are proudly part of the Bishop Konstant Catholic Academy Trust which comprises of three Secondary Schools and twelve Primary Schools.
