Work for an outstanding CQC rated care provider

We make a difference to vulnerable adults and people in our local community - you can too

We have been commissioned to provide support for an engaging young lady who requires support to be able to live independently in the community in her own accommodation.

By way of an overview of A

  • A is a thoughtful and reflective individual who has a dry sense of humour and she loves painting, music, singing and animals, she is also very intelligent and has great aspirations for the future and the career path that she wants to follow.

A requires support as she has experienced a huge amount of change and upheaval in her life, and therefore it is difficult for her to feel reassured and to secure interpersonal relationships, and this can mean that her moods change quickly and reactively, which is linked to her mental health.

A has diverse and complex needs which associate with the trauma and upheaval she has experienced, and therefore she has a diagnosis of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and Autism Spectrum Disorder

A can become dysregulated and this can mean that she is verbally threatening or can lash out, there are also the potential risks of self-harm

The aim of the support is to provide A with the much needed stability, which in turn can support her to build up trust and reassurance, which will support A to attend college and be more independent

The Support Team will be based upon 2 to 1 staffing levels with, which will include sleep overs
