37 hours per week, temporary position until December 2023

The Income Recovery team are looking to recruit one temporary, full time Former Tenant Arrears Recovery Administrator. This post is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to progress in an exciting career within the Housing Service.


After recent welfare reform changes the collection of rental income is becoming increasingly difficult and our former tenants' incomes are becoming increasingly stretched.

As a result of this we are looking to recruit a Former Tenant Arrears Recovery Administrator to help with this.

Good numeracy and written skills

An ability to build and maintain relationships with former tenants, colleagues and third parties

An ability to have difficult conversations with former tenants in respect of money and have a firm but fair approach to all unpaid rent

An ability to interpret and follow policies and procedures

You will be required to work as part of a rota, between the hours of 8am and 5pm Monday to Friday.

Would suit individuals from the following background: Housing/ Welfare / Sales / Credit Control / Customer Service / Financial Sector / Performance Background.

A background in Income Recovery / Housing is not essential.
