Are you looking to start a career in Early Years? We have a fantastic opportunity working at a Pre School as an Early Years Practitioner apprentice at our client's location in Harrow.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to begin their career in Early Years with a keen interest in childcare.

This is an apprenticeship role with great progression opportunities where you will train on the job to become a skilled Early Years Practitioner whilst gaining valuable experience in the childcare sector.

Apprenticeship:
Early Years Practitioner Level 2/Early Years Educator Level 3

Working hours:
Monday - Friday / 8:30am - 18:00pm

Start date:

ASAP

Pay:
£5.50 per hour

Location:
HA3 9QN

About the company:

Our client is a privately run pre-school that opened in September 2012. Attached to a Primary school this is a friendly, caring nursery looking for an apprentice to join their team.

Main Responsibilities:

As you will be working as an apprentice, you will be supervised by managers and support by the whole team when observe your children, create next steps and complete the planning, whilst being able to have fun

Able to model play, read stories, sing
Able to follow instructions, support teamwork, take part in training and continue to update skills and understand why it's important, take part in regular supervisions with manager, and become reflective in practice.
Able to follow rota,
Able to follow and understand policies and procedures,
Able to have a good time manage with written part of apprenticeship to deadlines.
Be interested and build conversations with children.
Be aware of safety and risks.
Able to keep preschool tidy.

Apprenticeship eligibility requirements:

To not already hold an Early Years qualification at level 3 or above
To meet course suitability and initial assessment requirements in English and maths
To have the right to work in the UK and meet apprenticeship funding eligibility criteria
