Description

Our aim is to provide high quality child-centred childcare for children aged 4-12 years which reflects and responds to individual needs and identity.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, nurturing and innovative Childcare Practitioner.

The ability to work in a team situation is essential and a flexible approach to working with children and their parents is required.


Practitioner duties include:

  • Adhering to Care Inspectorate National Standards
  • Complying with SSSC (Scottish Social Services Council) Code of Practice and registration requirements
  • Planning and assisting with safe, creative and appropriate play activities
  • Administer First Aid as required
  • Administer medicines as per policy and procedure
  • Adhere to staff rules, policies and procedures
  • Undertake delegated administrative duties
  • Supervise junior staff to ensure compliance with staff rules, policies and procedures

Job Type:
Part-time

Part-time hours: 25 per week


Salary:
£12.93 per hour

  • Management: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
