About Clever


We're searching for a super organised, efficient individual with an understanding of Property Maintenance to come and join our team & play an important role in a busy Student Lettings company.


Your communication and organisation skills will be exercised daily as you liaise with tenants, landlords, and contractors regarding maintenance issues related to Student accommodation and you'll take responsibility for troubleshooting and organising contractor visits, quotes, and works.


The role is wide ranging and in addition to the troubleshooting elements it encompasses managing the compliance aspects attached to letting a property including safety certificates and advising of legislative requirements & changes.

Key responsibilities

  • Handle incoming Maintenance calls from customers and contractors to report and update maintenance works
  • Building relationships with contractors, tenants and landlords
  • Raising and chasing work orders with contractors
  • Outbound calls to contractors assigning work orders, chasing completion of works
  • Outbound calls to Tenants to inform them of completion of works or provide an update for the expected outcome of the request raised
  • Outbound calls to Landlords to provide authorisation for Maintenance requests and liase regarding costs of repairs
  • Administrative tasks to support the operation as determined by processes and instructed by Management
  • Monitoring Maintenance inbox and dealing with queries, escalations etc.
  • Customer focus, empathy and understanding

  • A positive attitude and ability to manage situations with a professional attitude

Experience & Qualifications:


  • Call Centre Experience preferred
  • Ability to make inbound and outbound calls (essential)
  • Experience working within a customer service environment

Working Hours:
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within our busy Maintenance department on the phones. This role primarily responsible for the logging of maintenance faults and associated works. You will work a 5 day week Monday to Friday 9-5:30pm
