Job Details
We are currently looking for a Support Assistant who will provide a professional customer focused Business Support Service.

Business Support provides a wide variety of administrative support - you will work alongside Managers and colleagues supporting the following areas of the Council:


  • Education & Children's Services.
  • Health & Social Care.
  • Mail/accounts.

A blend of working from home and working in a Council building, where typically, you would work 1 or 2 days in the office depending on the needs of the service, where post allows.

The Person
Educated to National 4 with core skills modules, SVQ1, 3 Standard or "O" Grades or equivalent.


An awareness of confidentiality is essential, along with how you might handle this type of information in a secure and safe manner.

Key skills required include accuracy, attention to detail, time management, customer service, interpersonal and organisational skills.


You are required to have good levels of interpersonal skills to enable you to work as part of a team or on your own as required.

You will be required to attend an interview of around 30 minutes followed by short skills tests.
