Secondary Cover Supervisor

Anzuk are looking for Secondary Cover Supervisors to support schools around North-west area. We are looking for cover supervisors on both long-term and short-term basis fitting to your individual needs and flexibility.

As a cover supervisor, your role is to help students to complete pre-prepared work and manage the classroom.


The Role as Cover Supervisor:


  • Manage the classroom environment and promoting positive behaviour
  • Provide guidance and support to students to help them stay on task
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance and progress
  • Collaborate with teaching staff as a Cover Supervisor to ensure effective delivery of the curriculum
  • Swiftly and effectively addressing any disruptions or behavioural issues that may arise

Requirements as a Cover Supervisor:


  • Previous experience working in a school setting or with young people
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent is an advantage
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude towards education
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one)
