The role of the Coordinator is to support the delivery of the highest quality care support services by organising the rosters and duties of the care workers, ensuring that the care duties are undertaken by appropriately qualified and competent staff.

Typical Duties:


  • Coordinate the duties and work plan for Care Workers and other designated Juniors
  • Assist Client Manager with new Care worker inductions
  • Ensure that the care worker rotas are organised and sufficiently well planned taking into account travel time and routes
  • Liaise with the Client Manager to arrange shadow shifts for new Care Workers
  • Plan and allocate care assignments to appropriate care workers, with due regard for the particular needs of the individual and the skills and attributes of the worker
  • Liaise as necessary with partner professionals and organisations (e.g. social workers, GPS, nurses) in respect of developing and delivering holistic, personcentred packages of care
  • Dealing with queries from clients and families in a calm and professional manner.
  • Carry out oncall coordinating and response duties outside normal office hours as agreed.
  • Support the Client Managers with covering care visits for any last minute schedule changes as and when required
  • Collect paperwork from different branches

Person Specification:


  • Excellent time management skills
  • Must be a driver and access to a car
  • The ability to work collaboratively with other team members and departments
  • Be prepared to undertake other training that would benefit you in the role
  • You must be able to demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Selfmotivated, responsible and able to act on your initiative
  • To be organised and flexible

This is a full time permanent position working Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, with a fantastic company who promote within and encourage their staff to reach their full potential.

Continuous training and support will be provided.
