Job Description:

In order to support our strong growth, we are looking for a motivated Accounting Specialist, curious and able to integrate quickly to join our Finance team based in London.

Reporting to our Finance Lead, the Accounting Specialist will be predominantly responsible for:

Maintaining an efficient and accurate Accounts Payable function for UK and Ireland:

- day to day processing of AP invoices, including pro-active chasing of direct debit invoices.

Managing periodic invoice payments.
Resolving supplier queries promptly.
Ensuring correct VAT treatment of the purchase invoices in both countries.
Carrying out monthly supplier reconciliations.
Helping with month end tasks (including, but not limited to, maintaining accruals and prepayments schedules, bank reconciliations etc.).
Liaising with external accountants.

Qualifications:

You are recognised and appreciated for your:

Education to a degree level.
Excellent rigour in the execution of tasks, very good organisation skills to ensure deliverables on time.
Dynamic and responsive on a daily basis with good management of priorities and stress.
Interpersonal skills and team spirit.
Ability to work independently and in coordination with other teams.
Sense of detail, and an analytical mind to identify and solve problems.
Critical thinking, curiosity and initiative to proactively provide solutions.
Ability and appetite to evolve, adapt and learn in a constantly changing environment.
