Job Description:


In order to support our strong growth, we are looking for a motivated Accounting Specialist, curious and able to integrate quickly to join our Finance team based in London.

Reporting to our Finance Lead, the Accounting Specialist will be predominantly responsible for:

  • Maintaining an efficient and accurate Accounts Payable function for UK and Ireland:
- day to day processing of AP invoices, including pro-active chasing of direct debit invoices.

  • Managing periodic invoice payments.
  • Resolving supplier queries promptly.
  • Ensuring correct VAT treatment of the purchase invoices in both countries.
  • Carrying out monthly supplier reconciliations.
  • Helping with month end tasks (including, but not limited to, maintaining accruals and prepayments schedules, bank reconciliations etc.).
  • Liaising with external accountants.

Qualifications:


You are recognised and appreciated for your:

  • Education to a degree level.
  • Excellent rigour in the execution of tasks, very good organisation skills to ensure deliverables on time.
  • Dynamic and responsive on a daily basis with good management of priorities and stress.
  • Interpersonal skills and team spirit.
  • Ability to work independently and in coordination with other teams.
  • Sense of detail, and an analytical mind to identify and solve problems.
  • Critical thinking, curiosity and initiative to proactively provide solutions.
  • Ability and appetite to evolve, adapt and learn in a constantly changing environment.

  • You have general knowledge of VAT matters.
  • You master the tools of the MS Office package, in particular Excel.
  • You are fluent in English. Any other language is an asset.
