  • Our established engineering client in Leicester are recruiting for Mechanical Assemblers to work on a fulltime contract
  • The role will suit someone that has either worked within sheet metal or machining that understands engineering principles
  • The hours are 8am 4.30pm Monday
  • Friday
  • Pay rate £10.42 per hour

The client:


  • Sheet metal manufacturer for multiple sectors

The role

  • Working within a sheet metal engineering environment, that makes parts for multiple sectors such as automotive, health, and food
  • Assembling units, Handrails, machine housing & general sheet metal products
  • Reading and working from drawings
  • Using hand, air, and power tools
  • Cutting and bending when required
  • Assisting colleagues in Various departments such as fettling, welding and painting
  • Experienced in Mechanical Assembly / Fitting
  • Able to use hand and air tools and have an understanding of engineering drawings
  • Physically robust as work can involve heavy and repetitive lifting
