Ductbusters Limited was established in 1996 as the need for specialised _ductwork cleaning_ in a wide range of commercial and medical premises became more apparent.


Since its inception, Ductbusters has been of service to all sizes of organisation from the smallest fast food restaurant to major UK Hospital projects.

Within this range of premises, we can clean and refurbish all types of _ventilation systems_.

Purpose of the Role


To support the Accounts Manager, Managing Director and the wider Board of Directors in providing high quality bookkeeping and accounting services for Ductbusters Limited.

To contribute to the goals of the business by reviewing, developing and improving all financial processes.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • All aspects of bookkeeping and accounting for Ductbusters Limited, including;
  • Daily bank transactions recording and reconciliation.
  • Maintenance of the Purchase Ledger, ensuring accurate recording and resolution of queries.
  • Prepare proposed supplier payments for approval and prepare subsequent BACS payments to ensure creditors are paid in a timely manner, in line with payment terms.
  • Maintenance of the Sales Ledger, including the raising and recording of sales invoices and VAT reverse charge where applicable.
  • Reconcile credit card statements.
  • Overall maintenance of the General Ledger.
All of the above, to ensure accounting records accurately reflect business performance.

  • Control and reconcile petty cash.
  • Effective customer communication including query resolution and credit control.
  • Develop collaborative relationships with other departments across Ductbusters Limited.


In addition to the above, the job holder is required to perform other duties assigned by the Managing Director and Operations Director from time-to-time.

  • Experience of Sage 50 is essential.


Part Time position offered three days a week, 5 hours a day Salary range is £10,000 - £11,000 depending on skills and experience.

Pro-rota holiday plus bank holidays. Workplace pension, WPA Cash Plan and free parking.
