Brief Description:


Who are we looking for?


We're looking for a pro-active project management assistant to work as part of our programme management office in the delivering the industry timetable technology strategy (available here).

We're looking for someone organised and structured in their approach to work, with good IT skills and comfortable with document management and project reporting.

About the role (External):


What does the average day look like?


In this role you will assist the Project Management team in the delivery of projects to time, cost and quality in a safe manner.

Day to day you will collate, format and distribute data to support project requirements and cascade to internal and external parties where appropriate.

You will also use the available reporting systems and guidelines to monitor and report on project progress.

This includes maintaining and generating project and programme documentation in accordance with project reporting system guidelines, as well as participating in projects as required.


What essential skills and experiences are required?

  • Good Microsoft Excel and Word skills
  • Educated to HND/HNC or relevant work experience

We would also like, but not essential.

  • Good Microsoft Office skills
  • Green Belt trained
  • A degree or equivalent
  • Skilled in use of Minitab Software package
