Senior Digital Products Technology Specialist


The Digital Product & Experience team within British Airways is responsible for creating customer-facing products that are innovative, effective and will change the experience of flying for the better.

We're investing in building a first-class product team and are looking for an outstanding Digital Products Technology Specialist to join us.


What you'll do:


  • Be the Commercial owner (SME) for one/or more of the core technologies that underpin Digital at BA (e.g., Consent Management, Web Analytics, Customer Experience, personalisation, optimisation, APM/RUM and traffic monitoring tools)
  • Effectively and efficiently be responsible for the endtoend lifecycle of your tools, acting as an internal consultant to gather requirements, review/select appropriate technologies, own technical design, configuration, implementation, and integration tasks.
  • Drive adoption of your technologies and embed appropriate and optimum usage.
  • Handle third party SaaS vendors and task professional resources to deliver the required outcomes.
  • Coordinate the delivery of ad hoc initiatives that improve our ability to operate and manage our Digital channels. e.g., Improving operating models with IT, delivering proofs of concepts

What you will bring to the team:

  • Experience of working with large scale transactional/eCommerce web sites and the associated Agile development, operational and support processes
  • Experienced in delivering and/or operating/supporting thirdparty online technology solutions ideally including Adobe Experience Cloud/tag management, Adobe Target and Adobe Analytics and/or APM/RUM tooling experience.
  • Clear communication skills when delivering your points of view through data, insight, and commercial opportunity/impact.
  • A positive attitude in the face of uncertainty and an ability to take clear decisions in a fastmoving and pressurised environment.
