Wire Person

Location:
Poole


Salary:
£13- £17 per hour (Open to discussion)


Working Hours:
Flexibility available (7am/8am -3pm/4pm)


Our client is looking for a Wire Person to join their well-established team, based in Poole on a permanent basis.

You will be required to wire electrical control panels and components while keeping organized and on schedule.


Responsibilities:


  • Panel wiring to electrical diagrams.
  • Maintain production build and quality documentation.
  • Liaise with the Production planner and other departments as required to resolve any building problems and design issues.
  • Perform system testing and fault diagnosis.
  • Installation & wiring of electrical power components (e.g. circuit breakers & fuse switches)
  • Installation & wiring of control equipment into switchboards (e.g. contactors, relays, timers)

Skills:


  • Experience of working in the Electrical Industry
  • Ability to read electrical schematic drawings.
  • Ability to interpret drawings.
  • Experience of working in an Engineering Industry
  • Ability to perform basic engineering activities.
  • Good time keeping
  • Ability to work to deadlines.
