About the role
Parkinson's is the fastest-growing neurological condition in the world.
Around 145,000 people live with Parkinson's in the UK and we're evolving our strategy to reach and support as many of those affected by the condition as possible, to campaign for better health and care, and to get new treatments, faster.
We're looking for a Digital Marketing Officer to develop and deliver data and insight-driven paid digital marketing activity across Parkinson's UK's channels to grow our reach and acquire new support from defined audiences.
You'll support the Senior Digital Marketing Officer to juggle requests from multiple teams, devise audience focused campaigns, and ensure all campaigns run smoothly.
Meticulous in your attention to detail, your digital marketing skills will ensure we develop best practice in digital advertising and ultimately, improve the lives of people affected by Parkinson's.
This is a 7 month fixed term contract, with the potential to be extended.
What you'll do:
- Plan, deliver and manage digital marketing activity, including (but not limited to) paid social, PPC, paid search and display.
- Work effectively with the Marketing teams, and wider teams across the charity to deliver bespoke and integrated digital campaigns to reach their objectives.
- Create inspiring, engaging content for our digital marketing channels that meet brand guidelines, in partnership with the Creative and Content teams.
- Measure and report on the performance and effectiveness of digital acquisition content and campaigns.
What you'll bring:
- Experience of delivering and optimising successful digital marketing campaigns
- Experience using a range of digital marketing tools such as Google Ads (search, video, display), social media advertising platforms, Google Analytics, Google Search Console and Semrush (or similar)
- A collaborative and proactive cando attitude, with strong communication skills and the ability to see opportunities and take initiative
As well as flexible working hours, this role is offered on a flexible contract giving you the opportunity to also work from home three days a week.
