Responsibilities:
- Preparation of annual accounts for a variety of clients including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
- Assisting with tax computations and returns
- Regular communication with clients to provide financial information and advice
- Participating in audits
- Undertaking bookkeeping and preparing VAT returns
- Assisting senior accountants as required
- Maintaining uptodate knowledge of relevant tax and accounting regulations
Requirements:
- AAT qualified or at the final stages of your AAT studies; ACCA/ACA partqualified would be beneficial
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in an accountancy practice environment
- Proficient with accounting software such as Sage, QuickBooks or Xero
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work well within a team as well as independently
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
