Please note this company work a 4 day working week.The Role
- Running Quality Control (QC) assays assigned by the Line Manager
- Preparation of reagents for running assays and raw material testing
- Quality Inspection of final product and assembled kits
- Calibrate equipment and update temperature logs
- Data interpretation from relevant QC tasks under the supervision of senior staff
- Competent in the use of company software
- Manufacture and test internal controls as instructed by senior staff
- Restock laboratory consumables
- Waste deactivation and disposal
- Maintain workplace and equipment in good order
- Perform any duties as required by the business
Experience Required
- Scientific Based Degree
- Experience working in a laboratorybased environment in a sciencebased company
- Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP)
- Understanding of ELISA and/or PCR processes and workflows
- Ability to use pipettes
- Ability to follow procedures
- Ability to be methodical, conscientious, organized and show attention to detail
- Ability to work proactively both individually and in a team
- Good communication and time management skills
- Contribute towards improving processes and documentation
- Adaptability to work with a fluctuating testing schedule
- To maintain a high level of integrity, motivation, and reliability in all work
