Description

Spencer Clarke Group are working closely alongside a Local Authority in East London to assist with the appointment of a
Senior Procurement Officeron an interim contract.


Contract Details

Pay Scale - Inside IR35 - £350 p/d


Location - Remote


Contract Length - 3-6 months


About You

  • Extensive experience in above threshold Public Sector Procurement that can hit the ground running to deliver a backlog of procurements that require tendering and cover a range of categories (Construction, IT, Advertising, Social Care)
  • The evidenced levels of experience, skills and delivery
  • Skills to proactively research, plan, engage, and undertake to progress procurements to the next stage
  • Skills and knowledge to recommend and undertake robust procurement strategies for a variety of procurements.
Procedures could be Light touch, supplies, services, works, restricted, open, concessions

  • An appetite to drive savings and value for money
  • Experience in Market engagement and benchmarking exercises
