Duties will include assisting in the survey, design and supervision of roads projects.

There are 2 posts, one of which is within the Road Safety team and one within the Roads Design team:


Road Safety - You will assist in the preparation of minor traffic engineering projects such as traffic signs, road markings and traffic calming schemes.

You will also assist in the assessment of road traffic collision data.


Roads Design - You will assist in the preparation of projects such as footway and carriageway resurfacing, drainage and public transport infrastructure improvements.


The Individual:

You must have just completed or be studying towards a qualification in either Civil Engineering or the Built Environment.

Requirements for both posts

  • Recently completed or studying towards a qualification in Civil Engineering or the Built Environment
  • Driving Licence
  • Ability to work as part of a team and under own initiative


You must have a valid driving licence as this post requires you to travel to a variety of locations across Perth and Kinross.
