The Machine Operator works as one of a team to operate the Print Presses, Waxer & Sheeting machine, working together with the Production Supervisor to deliver consistency of product in a timely manner.

The Machine Operator will predominately be running one of the two print presses, as well as a Waxing machine and Sheeting machine.

Duties

• Operate and monitor machines in a manufacturing environment
• Set up machines according to specifications
• Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
• Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to standards
• Troubleshoot machine issues and make necessary adjustments or repairs
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a machine operator or in a similar role preferred
• Ability to read works orders
• Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of machine operations
• Familiarity with materials handling and warehouse procedures
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent attention to detail and problemsolving skills

Salary:
From £10.69 per hour


Expected hours:
No less than 38.75 per week
