role


Touchstone are looking for a Property Inspector to cover the Edinburgh and the Lothians area carrying out quality checks on our Properties.

This a great opportunity for someone already involved within the property sector to progress their career with a role that offers autonomy to work independently balanced with the support of a wider team.

You will have responsibility for a wide geographic spread of properties, covering central and greater London.

You will undertake property inspections in accordance with the Touchstone standard form and report back to portfolio teams on the condition of properties.

As one of our Property Inspectors you will ensure that all completed maintenance work is of standard, where required you will produce snagging lists and follow up with snagging checks.

You will meet with contractors where appropriate and provide feedback, where necessary liaise with new contractors to arrange for quotes in co-ordination with Portfolio Managers and Surveyors.

More about you**We will support you with the tools you need to do your job such as standard forms and an iPad to record inspections. You will need to demonstrate a methodical approach to work and a high attention to detail. Due to the autonomy offered in this role you will need to evidence, at interview, where you have managed your time and diary, under limited supervision.
