Barton-under-Needwood, Staffordshire

Duration: 6 months contract

Rate :
£15.24 per hour

Hours: 7am -5pm Mon to Thurs, 7am -1pm Fri

Our Engineering client based in Barton Under Needwood are looking for an experienced Panel Wirer for a 6 month contract

Position Summary:

The role of the Electrician/Harness builder is to ensure that all items are manufactured/repaired in accordance with current drawing/instruction to a high standard.

Key Accountabilities/ responsibilities:

To manufacture conduit and concentric layered harnesses which involves cutting and repairing cables to terminate and fit connectors and plugs
To undertake training as and when required.
To work within a realistic timeframe.
To have good knowledge of automotive electrical systems and manufacturing harnesses would be an advantage.
To work to, and support, all relevant 5S activities
To ensure that waste is disposed of in the correct manner
To follow written or verbal instruction.

Qualifications/Education required:

NVQ Level 3 Electrical Engineering or higher or working towards would be an advantage

*Previous experience in rail or automotive industry - would be an advantage
