Salary:
£50,000 - £55,000

Hours:
Monday to Friday (40 hours)

This is a tremendous opportunity to work at one of the capitals most prestigious locations._

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Security Manager to oversee the delivery of security at a high-profile customer focused location in Central London.

This role will see you manage a team of security officers in a fast paced environment as well as shaping the security strategy.

You will be a Security Management professional with proven experience leading security teams and managing security strategy relating to counter terrorism planning and emergency response/planning.

Experience managing event security operations is also required.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

Experience managing the delivery of strategic and operational security at a busy and challenging environment is essential.
An experienced people manager with the ability to lead and develop staff
Experience implementing security strategy relating to counter terrorism, emergency planning/response, threat assessment etc.
A passion for service excellence
Experience planning the delivery of security at events.
Experience of influencing and engaging senior stakeholders
SIA License holder

Key duties and responsibilities will include:

Managing the delivery of site security in a busy and high-profile environment.
Conduct and monitor staff appraisals and encourage further development
Staff training and development across core areas such as counter terrorism response, customer service and effective communication.
The planning and implementation of Incident management and response
Event security planning and preparation
Safeguarding of various assets to include people, buildings and information
Assist with the strategic planning of the security function
Oversee the delivery of control room operations
Cross functional working with the Property and Facilities teams.
Undertake risk assessments
Liaise with emergency services when required
Management of 3rd party suppliers
