Our very well established and expanding Nottingham based client are looking for an experienced TIG Welder on a permanent basis.

Duties'''

Perform TIG welding on various metal components and structures
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding specifications
Set up welding equipment and ensure proper settings for each job
Clean and prepare surfaces for welding by removing rust, dirt, or debris
Assemble and fabricate metal parts using hand tools and power tools
Conduct quality inspections to ensure welds meet industry standards
Maintain a safe and clean work environment

Proficient in TIG welding techniques
Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of metal fabrication processes
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding specifications
Experience with stick welding and other welding processes
Familiarity with a variety of hand tools and power tools used in metal fabrication
Knowledge of sheet metal work and the ability to work with different gauges of metal
Basic math skills for measuring, calculating dimensions, and determining angles
Attention to detail and ability to produce highquality welds

The hours of work are Monday to Friday 7am-4pm, Friday 7am - 12pm

Salary:
£13.50-£14.00 per hour
